Sayanistas' Intramurals 2013

Yearly, we all know that our school spends two to three days within the month of August for the Intramurals. It is the most awaited event every year because during intrams, we get to play and enjoy our favorite sports. And during this year's intrams, us, the Yellow Cardinals and every student and team really enjoyed, did their best and supported each other during every game.
Last August 29-30, 2013, us, the Sayanistas held the Intramurals 2013. At around 7:00 o'clock, all students were gathered in the gymnasium to officially start the event. With the leadership of the YSC Club, it started with  the singing of the national anthem, then the doxology and some opening remarks.The first activity of  the event was the Search for Mr. and Ms. Physique 2013.  Every team, such as the Green Tamarraws, Yellow Cardinals, Red Lions and Blue Falcons had their representatives. Each team is composed of a year or grade level. After the Mr and Ms. Physique, the other representatives performed for the Mass Dance wherein there are 55 dancers. After all the performances, ball tossing was done by Sir Tom Loyola together with the team captains of each team. The Yellow Cardinals got the ball and the event officially started. The first game was basketball wherein Block A participants, Yellow Cardinals and Green Tamarraws competed. Even as a girl, I'm really fond of watching basketball. I fully supported my home team, Yellow Cardinals, during the game. And after four quarters, luckily, we won! Which meant that our players will then compete for the championship against the Blue Falcons. Other ball games simultaneously started that time. Mostly, the Yellow Cardinals and Blue Falcons compete against each other for the championship the next day. Campus Duet, Dance Sport and Chess Competition is also held during the first day. And by second day, ball games' championship, throwing events, Philippine games were done. By 3 o'clock the awarding ceremony started. The Red Lions' representative in Ms. Physique won. While the Mr Physique came from the Green Tamarraws.  Overall, the Blue Falcons won, we're in 2nd, the Red Lions in 3rd and Green Tamarraws in 4th.
The event was really enjoying and successful. We showed our unity, support and sportsmanship through Intrams.It also enhanced our skills in different games.
